स्वस्मै स्वल्पं समाजाय सर्वस्वं

(Svasmai Svalpam Samajaya Sarvasvam : “A little for self and everything for society.”)

Doing our bit.
Every single year.

Our ambitions have always extended beyond business, towards creating lasting value for the communities around us.

The Gateway Foundation operated by the CB Gemawat Charitable Trust carries the same long-term vision beyond our businesses. It is not a compulsion of compliance. It’s been a consistent practice, repeated year after year for over two decades, where the legacy has been carried on the ground by Gatewayites themselves.

01 · Blanket Drives

Warmth through every winter

Winters are hard for those without shelter, and each year the cold takes lives. Before the coldest weeks, our blanket drive reaches thousands, each winter.

25,000+blankets distributed through annual winter drives

02 · Footwear

A safer step forward

40,000+pairs of footwear distributed

Many children step out barefoot leading to injury and infection. A pair of shoes changes their day and protects their health.

03 · Blood Donation Drives

When hospitals run short

10,000+units of blood collected through recurring donation camps

Through blood donation camps held at regular intervals, Gatewayites give what they can, as often as they can.

04 · Elders

Supporting our elders

100+food and old-age drives through the year

Throughout the year we run food drives, distribute medicine, and support old-age homes.

05 · Education

Keeping children in classrooms

130+children supported in school, more than 90 of them girls

Education is the surest way out of poverty. We fund schooling for underprivileged children, with a focus on helping girls remain in the classroom.
