Prof. C.B. Gemawat has always called himself a teacher; not as a profession, but as a way of life. Long before Gateway, he shaped generations of doctors, engineers, and professionals across Gujarat, earning a reputation for the standards he expected and the values he instilled.
Inside Gateway, he is simply “Uncle.” He believes culture is built through everyday actions: discipline, respect, humility, and integrity. These are not policies or slogans, but values people live by. From the beginning, he wanted Gateway to feel like a family where people are mentored, leadership is earned, and character matters as much as capability. That philosophy continues to shape the company today.
Founders
Niraj founded Gateway Group in 1997 and has led it ever since, growing it from a single engineering practice in India into 40+ companies across 15 countries, with a 2,000+ strong team serving 30+ Fortune 500 clients, all without external investment. An engineer by training, he sets its vision and stays close to the technology, so strategy and build stay one conversation.
Today his work sits where the next decade is decided: new ventures, acquisitions, capital markets, and the client relationships that define it. As Managing Partner of TGC Capital Partners, he invests where Gateway's engineering depth moves business faster. What people meet first is the questioning: every idea and assumption tested, especially the marketing ones, against one standard. Can we make this better?
Away from the boardroom, the same energy shows up differently: a devoted dog person and incurable early adopter, happiest outdoors with family. Colleagues call him Gateway's unofficial power supply. If your idea needs a push, his door is open, and a lively debate is almost guaranteed.
As Founder and Board Member, Indrajeet drives technology, global delivery, and product innovation across Gateway. With 30+ years of experience, he pairs deep technical expertise with a gift for building high-performing teams and future-ready leaders.
An MCA from Gujarat University with an Executive MBA from Berkeley's Haas School of Business, he prefers to let his work do the talking. Around the office he's fondly called the “angry young man,” not because he's angry, but because he's sure one sentence usually does the job. His world revolves around books, technology, and family. As Co-Founder, Vipin leads strategic growth, global partnerships, and Gateway's Buy & Build initiatives. With 30+ years of experience spanning consulting, entrepreneurship, and the automotive technology ecosystem, he brings together innovation, execution, and a truly global perspective.
An engineer with an MBA, Vipin is equally known for his love of great conversations, great music, and even greater food, especially when he's the one cooking. His infectious smile, structured thinking, and natural ability to connect with people have earned him a playful reputation among colleagues: VIP in the Netherlands? Around here, that stands for “Very Important Person – Vipin.”
Management Team
Alf is a specialist in business-model innovation and the convergence of media. He spent 1988–1996 as an executive across film, radio, and print, put in four years in the public sector, and even taught as a professor in Denmark. As a strategy consultant since 2000 (CEO of LAC AS), he's guided 50+ Nordic clients through the leap from analog to digital.
Lately he's focused on digital agencies across Norway and Sweden, leading Pingbull's transformation into RedInk's digital arm and steering Sticky Beat from classic agency to true transformation partner. That urgency to build players who genuinely get digital transformation is exactly what drew him to Gateway Digital AS as CEO.
Born in the City of Nawabs, Anamaya learned early that the best relationships begin with warmth, trust, and a great conversation. Over the last 20+ years, he has carried that spirit across 15 countries, helping Gateway build lasting partnerships and meaningful client relationships around the world. From closing his first deal in 2008 to leading Sales, Business Development, and Key Accounts for Gateway Digital Sweden, he has played a key role in the company's global journey.
After moving to Sweden in 2016, he helped grow the local business while embracing a culture where trust speaks louder than presentations. From Lucknow's legendary kebabs to Sweden's perfectly grilled steaks, Anamaya's secret ingredient has never changed—people first, business follows.
Some people sell technology. Anand Dave builds confidence in transformation. With 20+ years of experience working across global markets, he has a knack for turning complex business challenges into practical digital opportunities. Whether it's software engineering, AI, cloud, enterprise applications, or digital transformation, Anand believes technology delivers its true value only when it solves real business problems.
His experience spans industries from Automotive and Manufacturing to Banking, Healthcare, Retail, and Logistics, giving him a broad perspective on what growth really takes. Equally comfortable in boardroom conversations and execution discussions, Anand is known for simplifying complexity, building lasting client relationships, and bringing energy, curiosity, and a touch of humour to every conversation. Ashit's Gateway journey began as a young Project Leader with a curious mind and a talent for solving problems. He grew right alongside the company, building teams, earning the trust of global customers, and proving that lasting transformation is as much about people as technology.
Today he leads AutoFacets' global growth, shaping it into an AI- and data-powered automotive technology company serving 17+ countries. Known for pairing sharp strategy with a calm, practical approach, he swears by strong teams, close customer partnerships, and staying curious.

Bharat is Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Gateway, with 30+ years spent incubating and running corporate accounts and finance functions. He's the steady hand behind global essentials like corporate advisory, risk management, audits, international accounting, treasury, taxation, overseas investments, and transfer pricing.
He's also a core member of the management team shaping strategic planning and Gateway's organic and inorganic growth. Day to day, that means annual business plans, cash-flow projections and long-term forecasts, budgeting and analysis, statutory compliance, and crisp financial reporting: the moving parts that keep the Group sharp and firmly in control.
Gaute Green-Stensrud is a Partner at TGC Capital Partners, leading scale-up engagements across the Nordics. He works with founders of €1M–€5M ARR B2B SaaS and tech-enabled services companies, supporting commercial expansion, governance maturity, senior leadership hiring, GTM execution, and growth-stage fundraising.
Gaute partners with founders from initial operating-thesis discussions through board governance and milestone execution, ensuring capital, operating support, and governance are aligned under a structured growth plan. As part of TGC’s Investment & Portfolio Affairs team, he helps shape investment selection, capital structuring, portfolio governance, and cross-portfolio operating initiatives.
His regional focus spans Norway, Sweden, and the broader Nordic market, combining local founder relationships with TGC’s platform-wide expertise in scaling businesses across borders.
Ingi Björn is Gateway's Director of Corporate Affairs and a Venture Partner at TGC Capital Partners, with 30+ years alongside entrepreneurs and tech companies. He's founded dozens of companies and worn the hats of venture coach and venture capitalist along the way.
A natural super-connector, he's spent years growing his network, hosting conferences, running accelerators, teaching investment and innovation, and leading pan-Nordic export projects. He loves creative, goal-oriented teams, firmly believing that while talent wins games, teams win championships.
He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Iceland and a Master's in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Bifröst University.
With 30+ years of building and delivering enterprise solutions, Kala is an empathetic, agile, and endlessly enthusiastic leader who's as good with people as she is with processes. She's guided large global clients through digitalisation across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific, in domains from retail and healthcare to banking and finance.
Her motto, “Customer First” and “Happy Cohesive Teams,” runs through everything she does. A key architect of the “Gateway Way of Working,” she's a natural mentor who nudges her teams toward bold tech exploration. Off the clock, she's travelling or lost in music.
She holds a BSc in Statistics and a Master's in Computer Applications.
Khushbu is a corporate legal professional with 10+ years of experience advising multinational organisations on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and strategic legal matters. As Legal Head, she leads the global legal function, managing cross-border transactions, commercial contracts, M&A, employment law, disputes, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and AI governance. She was honoured with the Extra Miller Award (2024–25) for her contributions. Previously, she worked with Fortune 500 companies and leading Indian conglomerates, gaining expertise in litigation, commercial transactions, and strategic legal advisory.
She holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights, an M.Com, has completed the CS Executive Programme, and earned certifications in Digital Marketing and Cyber Laws. Outside work, she enjoys travelling, exploring diverse cultures, and lifelong learning.
Lina keeps Gateway's financial engine humming, steering Corporate & Business Finance, International Taxation, Financial Planning, Global Treasury, and Risk Management across the Group.
With 20+ years in finance, she's laser-focused on revenue assurance, margin management, and keeping every Group company worldwide on the right side of regulation and compliance. She's also part of the Strategic Planning Team, digging into due diligence and project viability for Gateway's next big bets, organic and inorganic alike.
A Chartered Accountant with a Master's in Commerce and a Law degree, Lina brings a rare mix of numbers, rigor, and range to everything she touches.
Pavak has an entrepreneurial streak that's impossible to miss. He has a knack for spotting opportunities where others see obstacles and isn't afraid to explore new markets, new ideas, or new possibilities.
With 30+ years of global business experience, he has played a key role in expanding Gateway's presence across North America and beyond, building lasting customer relationships and opening new avenues for growth.
Known for his energy, optimism, and “let's give it a shot” attitude, Pavak believes that every big opportunity begins with the courage to take the first step.
Payal Matharu is one of the key forces behind TGC Capital Partners' presence in the Netherlands and has been instrumental in Gateway Group's European expansion alongside Vipin Moharir. She is known for her infectious positivity, exceptional communication skills, and an eye for perfection in everything she does. Whether she's speaking with founders, partners, or investors, Payal has a remarkable ability to make complex ideas feel simple and every conversation feel meaningful.
A natural relationship builder and accomplished orator, she creates trust long before discussing business. Prashant leads Gateway Digital's sales in Finland and AutoDAP's sales across Europe. His journey with Gateway began as a Client Account Manager, where he combined a strong technology foundation with a passion for sales, playing a key role in the company's expansion across the European market.
Inspired by the Finnish philosophy of SISU, Prashant is known for his straightforward, solution-oriented approach and his ability to turn complex business challenges into sustainable opportunities.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and has completed the Executive Education programme in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School. When he is not working, you will likely find him enjoying a good sauna, playing a round of golf, exploring nature trails, or catching up with friends over a game of cricket.
If there's a technical challenge, Pratik probably has three solutions ready, and is chasing a fourth out of sheer curiosity. A true people's person, he blends deep technical expertise with an approachable style that makes him the go-to across Gateway.
With 25+ years of experience, he leads Global Delivery and Operations, keeping technology, people, and execution in sync. His passion for learning is infectious, and he works closely across engineering, recruitment, MarCom, business development, and operations to keep things moving one solution at a time.
Off the clock? You'll find him following cricket just as intently. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications.
Dr. Rachna Gemawat is Director at Gateway Group, a global software engineering organisation headquartered in India and the Netherlands. With a background in Cosmetic Dentistry from the State University of New York and a Marketing degree from Nirma University, she brings a unique blend of science, technology, business, and design. She has also completed Executive Education in Design Thinking from Stanford University and leads design thinking initiatives across the Gateway ecosystem.
Rachna plays a key role in shaping the Group’s brand, strategic communications, and innovation-led initiatives. She is the Immediate Past Chairperson of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Ahmedabad Chapter (2022–23), where she championed women’s empowerment.
Passionate about learning, she also enjoys travel, art, textiles, reading, and community development.
If there's one thing Rahul is known for, it's being on time, every time. Add a love for cars, a straight-talking style, and a firm belief in teamwork, and you've got someone who picks action over unnecessary meetings.
He leads Gateway's growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, building lasting customer relationships and opening doors through partnerships, joint ventures, and regional teams, convinced that business grows best when local teams own local relationships. Inside Gateway, he's known for keeping things simple and accountable, and for loving to mentor and spot talent.
He holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from S.P. University and an MBA in Marketing from M.S. University, Vadodara.
Rushikesh is the COO of TGC Capital Partners, bringing 40+ years across HR, operations, international business, and law, including leadership roles in the Government of India and top IT and consulting organisations. He's a certified Mentor for Psychology at Work (University of Western Australia) and a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, with Self-Assurance, Activator, Ideation, Command, and Communication as his top five strengths.
A physics graduate with a post-graduation in Information Science, he's fascinated by the quirks of human behaviour and happily calls himself a perpetual student of the subject. Through coaching and mentoring, soft-spoken but always affirmative, he's sparked real personal and professional change in countless people.
